Introducing

myGlossier

Whilst working as a Sales Editor at the flagship Glossier store in Covent Garden, London I developed a mobile application called ‘myGlossier’ - aimed at revolutionising the customer experience in-store.

The outcome was incredibly positive - Employees said the application would reduce their stress levels and customers were keen to see the app rolled out to make their visits to store suited to their individual needs.

I used my skills in UX research and design, combined with my strong interest in the beauty sector to develop an app which kept inline with Glossier’s branding guidelines whilst keeping up to date with the latest trends in the beauty world.

Example of an e-learning video I designed, including the voiceover recording.

Reviving

the customer

experience

My workplace SBS introduced a new department called Customer Satisfaction in 2025, and hired me solely to roll this initiative out across the entire global company.

I spent 18 months developing an internal communication plan and then executing this through working closely with marketing and communication, legal, design and the SBS university.

This plan meant working on multiple projects at the same time, including the design of posters for global offices, creating the customer reference program and designing then launching the internal website.

One of the most demanding projects I executed was the creation of an E-Learning program to teach a customer-first mindset to 3,500 SBS employees.

This case study focuses on this and how I successfully boosted our NPS from +7 in 2024 to +38.2 in 2025.

Aife Bakery

After running a bakery from my home for a couple of years, it became clear I needed to create a website to make it easier for my customers to purchase cakes. So, after learning the ropes of website design during my Human Computer Interaction Design MSc, I launched www.aifebakery.com.

I gathered feedback from current customers to understand their needs, and studied the current market to see what was performing well, but also what wasn’t. I photographed all site photos, and created branding guidelines to create a brand identity which appealed to my audience.

After launch, I gathered quantitative and qualitative feedback which showed an increase in profits along with strong positive reviews left by customers. The most common was the ease of ordering a cake on the site, and being able to see exactly what was available at any time.
